Very little. Most teams start by adding the JavaScript SDK to capture frontend usage, which typically takes one small PR and less than an hour.
If needed, teams can later send additional events from the backend via API to cover server-side actions or async workflows. You can start simple and expand coverage over time — there’s no upfront tracking plan required.

AI credits are consumed when Sparkl generates answers and insights.
This includes actions like:
answering questions in chat
generating summaries or explanations for charts
analyzing changes in customer usage or engagement
powering alerts and insights that require deeper analysis
Simple requests typically use one credit, while more complex analysis may use more.
What happens if I exceed my AI credit limit?

The 2,000 AI credits included in the Starter plan are sufficient for most early teams.
If you approach your limit, Sparkl will alert you ahead of time, so there’s no interruption to service. You can add more credits at $10 per 100 credits, either as a one-time top-up for that month or as an ongoing add-on.

No. Plans are month-to-month by default, and you can change or cancel at any time.
If you choose an annual commitment, you’ll receive a discounted rate.
